Rachel Parker

A first class honours graduate in Textiles from Norwich University of the Arts, Rachel is a successful surface pattern designer working in print and embroidery.

Cross-stitching, grids and symbols are big influences in her work, often identified through her eclectic use of colour and handmade textures. Stitched textiles are scanned and re-drawn digitally to create abstract geometrics, combining the slow simplicity of a handmade craft with the immediacy of digital print. Vibrancy is very important to Rachel, the more colours the merrier!
